Developed by Analytical Graphics, Inc., STK Engine is an embeddable software development kit that brings the physics-based modeling and visualization capabilities of Systems Tool Kit (STK) into custom applications and services. It enables developers to integrate time-dynamic geometry, orbit and attitude propagation, sensor modeling, line-of-sight and coverage analysis, and RF communications assessments using the same validated models available in the STK desktop environment.
STK Engine supports both interactive and headless workflows. You can build applications with 2D and 3D scene rendering for mission visualization, or run large-scale, automated analyses on the server side for batch processing. The API is accessible through COM and .NET, making it straightforward to use from languages such as C#, C++, and Python (via interop), and to automate complex scenarios via the STK Object Model.
